About the event
The Deutscher Ausbildungsleitungskongress (DALK) is billed by its organiser, Fleet Education, as Germany's central congress for apprenticeship management, HR and people development. The 2026 edition runs on 10–11 November at the CCD Congress Center Düsseldorf (Stockumer Kirchstraße 61). Doors open at 09:15 on day one, with the programme starting at 10:30 and an evening get-together; day two opens at 08:45 and closes at 17:00. The organiser reports more than 1,000 participants each year. The programme is organised into five tracks: leadership, development and mentoring, strategy and trends, learning culture and training practice, and recruiting and employer branding. Speakers include Dr Steffi Burkhart and Almuth Schult, and the results of the new DALK-Ausbildungsmonitor, run with the BDBA trainers' association, will be presented. The congress is in German and in-person only. Team tickets start at €899 + VAT per person, single tickets €1,099 + VAT (current price tier until 2 October). Mid-sized employers that train their own apprentices will find practical ideas on recruiting and retaining young talent.
