Future @ Work is HRC Community's annual conference on the future of work, taking place on the morning of 15 October 2026 (10:00–13:00) at INPS's Palazzo Wedekind on Piazza Colonna in Rome. The 2026 theme, “Oltre il miraggio” (Beyond the mirage), asks how organisations can recognise real change instead of missing opportunities around young people, birth rates, education, inclusion, health and innovation. The programme opens with an institutional panel featuring INPS president Gabriele Fava and continues with sessions on technology adoption, work-life balance across generations, workplace health and longevity, and team diversity beyond “cultural fit”, with HR leaders from Ferrovie dello Stato, Ericsson, Fincantieri, Italgas, FiberCop and Verisure Italia. Philosopher and author Maura Gancitano is the featured speaker. In-person attendance is limited and reserved for HR directors, heads of HR and top managers by accreditation, and the event is also streamed live. HR teams in companies with 51–250 employees can follow the stream to hear how large employers approach retention and wellbeing.
