About the event
The HR Square Breakfast Club is a morning networking format from the Belgian HR publisher HR Square, taking place on 27 November 2026 in the KoWala Soccer Lounge of the Planet Group Arena in Ghent – a business lounge overlooking the pitch. The organiser describes it as low-threshold, interactive and hands-on. Doors open at 9:00 for breakfast, followed at 10:00 by a keynote and at 11:00 by networking. The speaker is Karl Meesters, keynote speaker, TV maker and former life and career coach to Olympic and Paralympic athletes, whose talk "Flip het script" draws on his experience of living with blindness to discuss resilience, growth and how we deal with limitations, real or perceived. The event is in Dutch. Entry is free for HR Square subscribers in an HR role and €95 for non-subscribers; commercial participants pay €349 and must bring an HR guest. A short, affordable morning format suits HR managers in companies with 51–250 employees who cannot spare a full day away but want to meet regional peers.
